In case 2-way authentication is enabled for your Gmail account, you will encounter problems while sending e-mails from Lobbi by Mancloud. Even if you are using the correct credentials.
A solution for this issue is to start using, what Google calls, "app passwords". This will allow you to keep using 2-way authentication and e-mail from Lobbi by Mancloud, as before.
Visit your App password page and sign in if asked.
- Select the app and device you want to generate the app password for
- App Should be Other (Custom name)
- Mention Lobbi as the app name for later reference
- Click on Generate
- Copy the password generated
- Once the password is generated, you should receive a confirmation email
- Now that your password is generated, you can use it to sign in inside Lobbi by Mancloud SMTP Email configuration
- Open your Lobbi by Mancloud PMS and click Configuration> Mailbox>server
- Fill in the required information
- host - smtp.gmail.com
- port - 587
- security - TLS
- username - your email address
- password - the new password generated from app
