In this article, you will learn how to customise settings in Octorate,
either you use it as a channel manager or also as a booking engine.
Step 1 - Edit and complete company data
1. go to 'Settings'
2. choose 'Property'
3. fill in all the required fields, click on 'Save' at the bottom left
Step 2 - Add photos and descriptions per room type
1. go to 'Rooms'
2. choose 'Show'
3. click on 'Edit'
4. add images at 'Images'
5. adjust the description of the rooms in'Descriptions'
6. click on 'Save' at the bottom left
Step 3 - Customise booking engine layout
1. go to 'Booking engine EVO'
2. choose 'Widgets'
3. click on 'Edit'
4. customise the layout
Step 4 - Source code booking engine
1. go to 'Booking engine EVO'
2. choose 'Widgets'
3. click on 'Edit'
4. copy the source code to your website or submit it to your web developer
Step 5 - Connect with OTAs
1. go to 'Channel Manager'
2. click on 'Connect new site'
3. type in the search bar the site that you want to connect with
4. click on 'Connect' on the right-hand side at the same line
5. this is an example of booking.com, you have to enter your Hotel ID here
6. click on 'Connect'
Connecting with airbnb:
Repeat steps 1 to 4 and go through the following steps
5. enter your airbnb account details
6. click on 'Connect'
7. go back to 'Channel Manager'
8. click on 'Edit'
9. click on 'Authorize App' and follow the steps to connect airbnb with Octorate Channel Manager.
Step 6 - Mapping
1. go to 'Channel Manager'
2. click on 'Mapping Settings'
3. the column on the left is a list of the room types configured in the channel manager,
if you click on a room type, it will appear in the middle
4. column on the right is a list of the room types configured on the
dashboard ofbooking.com, airbnb or other OTA, click on a corresponding room type,
this also appears in the middle
Link the correct room types of the 2 columns.
5. click on the dark blue square
6. link the arrow to an orange square of the corresponding room type
7. click op 'Ask for connection'
8. send an e-mail to support@lobbi-pms.com asking for the connection to be activated
