Now that you have your Stripe Terminal set up,
it's time to start using it to complete a payment transaction.
In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the process
of collecting payment with Stripe Terminal within Lobbi PMS.

First, you'll need to create a new booking or select an existing booking that you want to process a payment for. Once you have selected the booking, navigate to the Administration section of the booking details.
1. Click on the Stripe Payment Terminal button, this will open up the Stripe Terminal payment modal.
2. From here, select the right terminal. You may have multiple payment
terminals within your Stripe account, so be mindful of which terminal you choose.
After selecting the right terminal, you'll need to wait for the message Connected to reader to appear. This may take a few seconds, so be patient. At this point, you'll see that the Collect payment button turns from grey to white, indicating that the terminal is ready to process the payment.
3. In the payment modal, you should see a pre-filled amount based on the booking total.
You can adjust this amount if necessary. Click on the
IMPORTANT
It's important to only click once on the Collect payment button to avoid sending several requests
and disrupting the payment process.
From the guest's end, they'll be prompted to add their
card with this message and visual.
If you choose to collect a payment, the payment will be captured immediately.
4. After the transaction is complete, you should see the transaction details in the Payments section on the booking details page.
