Adding housekeeping templates for automated tasks

Efficiently managing housekeeping tasks is essential for maintaining cleanliness and organization in any establishment. The Housekeeping App provides a convenient solution for streamlining these tasks. In this article, we will walk you through the process of creating task templates for the Housekeeping App, including tasks linked to reservations and general tasks.

To begin, navigate to the Housekeeping task configuration by selecting the
Configuration> Global>Housekeeping tab to access the housekeeping task configuration.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please ensure that you email support@lobbi-pms.com whenever 
any changes are made to the housekeeping task configuration. 
This is necessary to initiate synchronization and enable the new tasks in the Housekeeping App.

The Housekeeping App provides six distinct cleaning types, categorized into tasks linked to reservations and general tasks. Let's explore the tasks linked to reservations:

1. Tasks linked to reservations

• Arrival tasks
  Generated upon guest arrival to prepare and clean the room.
• During stay tasks
  Automatically created at intervals for extended stays to maintain cleanliness and comfort.
• Departure tasks
  Generated after guest check-out to thoroughly clean and prepare for the next guest.
• Dirty tasks
  These tasks are triggered when a room or space requires extra cleaning due to exceptional circumstances. The Housekeeping App assists in identifying and addressing areas that require additional attention.

2. General Tasks
In addition to reservation-linked tasks, the Housekeeping App offers general tasks that help maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout your hotel. 

• Weekly tasks
  Create tasks that need to be completed on specific days of the week. For instance, if "dusting floors" needs to be done every Tuesday and Friday, the Housekeeping App allows you to set up a recurring task for these days.
• Recurring tasks
  For tasks that need to be performed at regular intervals, the Housekeeping App provides the option to create tasks with precise intervals. For example, if "dusting floors" needs to be done every four days, the app allows you to set up the task accordingly.
